Alumni in the Upstate South Carolina area are invited to help in the Project Host garden on Saturday, March 22nd from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. After a morning of hard work, alumni are welcomed to gather at the Liberty Tap Room for lunch. The Liberty Tap Room is located at 941 S. Main St., Greenville, SC 29601.

About Project Host:
Project Host was founded in 1981 by local church and lay leaders distressed at the hunger and poverty in Greenville. Today, they serve approximately 200 of our less fortunate neighbors Sunday through Friday.  Meals are offered to anyone who comes through the door, no questions asked. Their Feeding Hungry Children Project provides healthy, well-balanced meals to children of low income families enrolled in after school enrichment programs while their CC Pearce Culinary School teaches culinary and life skills to chronically unemployed and underemployed in order to prepare them for gainful employment that will lead them towards self-sufficiency. Project Host is the first soup kitchen in the country to have a garden on site to service their programs.
